TVS Indonesia Increases Motorcylce Export from Indonesia

PT TVS Motor Company Indonesia continues to boost the export activity of motorcycle from Indonesian . From January to October 2010, TVS has exported 2908 units motorcycle.

Exports has been began since February this year to several countries in South America and Africa. As reported by kompas.com, the TVS Indonesia President Director, BLP Simha, said Indonesia has been appointed as special TVS production base for the duck model (underbone).

Simha explained, some countries are being explored to export such as : Nigeria, the Dominican Republic, and Brazil. TVS Indonesia relies on two models, namely : X3i Rokz capacity of 110 cc and 125 cc, for export activities. Both models are also sold in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, for the same period (January-October 2010), domestic sales of TVS in Indonesia was 14,450 units. Total sales reached 17,358 units. Neo and RockZ still dominate sales of TVS in Indonesia, with a share of 60 percent.
