Yamaha Xeon Indent Reached 3,300 Units

Yamaha Xeon was recently launched late of April 2010, the indent reached 3,300 units. Playing in the premium segment of automatic scooter (skutik), Xeon priced at Rp. 15,5 million per unit.

Dyonisius Beti, President Director of PT Yamaha Motor Kencana Indonesia (YMKI) said that the Xeon will be the highest caste of Yamaha scooter. "Since the first hour was launched, 200 units have been sold Xeon which a limited edition." Dyon said as quoted by Kompas.com.

Xeon, is a product that really just provided the latest technology. New engine capacity of 125cc, Yamaha became the main weapon to offer the aggressiveness and performance.

Per month, Xeon targeted 20,000 units sold. As of June 1, the product already shipped to customers. "If the message now, in two weeks I think it can be sent directly," added Dyon.

In the national market, the Xeon to compete with other rival Suzuki Skywave SkyDrive and who also carried the engine capacity of 125cc.
